I was skeptical of not going with a local branch-based mortgage lender but I’m glad I did not. Michael’s rates were great and much better than I could obtain with my local banks. Michael was knowledgeable and didn’t give me the hard sell… he knew his pricing was very competitive. The Loan Processor was very nice to work with and promptly responded to any questions I had along the way. Since my HELOC lender had to subordinate and modify their agreement, this took a bit longer than expected, but Michael honored the rate-lock. I would expect other lenders would have stuck it to me with extra charges, fees, etc.
