First of all, Michael Pennington is an absolute hoot! My husband and I talked to several different lenders and found them all to be somewhat similar–we felt like “a number” and many even seemed like they were almost reading from scripts. When we talked to Michael, he was knowledgeable and no question we asked was taken lightly. He brought a funny, lightheartedness to our conversations so that what originally seemed like a tedious, overwhelming process didn’t seem quite so intimidating and flowed along seamlessly. His response times were very impressive and if we sent questions late in the day, we often received answers well after “banker’s hours.” When we progressed to Jessica Coffin, the Loan Processor, we felt as if we had gotten the absolute best service and that our refinancing had been handled with the utmost professionalism. We honestly can’t say enough about what a pleasant experience this was–not only a spectacular rate was secured for us, but other than submitting a few forms, it was pretty effortless on our part.
