Bev just completed a loan for me; it wasn’t an easy one either, but she wasn’t afraid to take it on. The first thing that made it difficult is that I am self-employed. Bev did two things I knew were possible. She allowed me to use my corporate profit and add back in a percentage of my mileage deduction, both of which practices are allowed, but a lot of loan officers just don’t know how to do it. The other thing that made the loan difficult is that it was a purchase on a non-warrantable condo. Everyone in the town it is located in said “Only local banks can do that; you are wasting your time!” They were wrong though, and Bev got it done. I know if Bev can easily get a loan done on a property like that for a borrower like me, that borrowers with normal properties would be a cinch for her…if mine was even difficult, she never mentioned it.
