In late 2011, I noticed the rapidly decreasing housing market values across the nation and that started another panic in me. As I watched the interest rates fall again, I thought I should take advantage of the situation for a change and try to refinance my home. After shopping online, I started getting bombarded with calls and emails from companies like Lending Tree and others. It was a combination of values and appraisal issues and other technical issues that were unexplained to me and my loan would not work. I really became discouraged and threw in the towel.
In mid 2012, I decided that I would try it again, as I hate to give up. I read about recent refinance advantages and special programs, and I called the bank that was financing my home. They let me know that my loan had a technical issue.. The discouraging bug tried to bite me again, I am not sure what caused me to contact Dick Dobbs. I have to say, from the get go, you were a breath of fresh air. Your demeanor and your positive and friendly smile over the phone helped ease my mind that you had my best interest at heart. You brought integrity, humanity and compassion back into a very stressful and normally not a very reputable process. I appreciated your professionalism, humor, but most of all your knowledge of the business. All you read online is negative reviews about companies and their representatives.
You got the ball rolling and off we went. You had my back. I want to thank you for being so patient and so wonderful to work with. You are a Ray of Hope in this very gloomy world and I commend you for your work ethic, integrity and commitment in your profession. I actually feel that paying my mortgage off while I am still at a decent age is a reality, and I owe it all to you. Had it been anyone else, it would have never been accomplished. You’re right Dick, you do Deliver! I saw that catchy little slogan at the end of your contact info and would grin and now, I can take a deep breath and smile! Dick you touched my life and made liars out of all those warnings on the internet. There are still some good guys around in the mortgage financial world!
