About Matthew Douglas

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Matthew Douglas loves his home state and has no plans to ever leave. He graduated from the University of South Florida and worked for Aflac selling insurance after college. He also worked as a real estate appraiser and later sold staffing and auditing services to hospitals and clinics for Kforce.
Matthew was the Assistant Director of Admissions at The Art Institute of Tampa for six years before moving on to the Director of Admissions at Florida Career College.  All of this experience has helped Matthew improve greatly in his communication and interpersonal skills. He decided to leave the private education field and returned to the real estate industry in 2016. He loves his community and knows it very well; he is excited to help local folks secure financing for their homes.
Matthew has been a long-time supporter of South East Guide Dogs and the DeBartolo Family Foundation.
